1. Baking soda and vinegar are useful for clearing your drain. Pour ½ cup of baking soda down your drain. Then pour ½ cup of vinegar down your drain. Let it sit for an hour while securely plugged. After an hour, pour a pot of boiling water down it until your drain is clear.
2. Baking soda and salt can be mixed together (1/2 cup of each) and poured down your drain. After an hour pour a pot of boiling water down your drain.
3. Use the old wire coat hanger trick. Using the hook on the hanger go “fishing” in your drain to pull up any objects in there that are obstructing your drain.
